Job Advertisement for 2 posts:

Rwanda Action, a Charitable Organization based UK, No 1124634 and registered in Rwanda No.30/RGB/17 wishes to recruit two (2) workers for the following positions:

1. Project Assistant :

a. Working place: Rusizi Social Care Centre, located in Gahwazi village, Kamatita cell, Gihundwe Sector, in Rusizi district

b. Qualifications required

i. A1 level qualification in Business Administration, Project management, Rural development, economics & Management, Social sciences, Project planning

ii. Skilled in finance and business

i. Trained and proficient in using MS Word, Excel and emails

iii. Knowledge of social and welfare issues

iv. Ability to train others is essential

v.  Motorbike driving license

c. Skills and experience

i. Excellent knowledge of enterprise groups, associations and cooperatives

ii. Proven ability to plan, monitor and report

iii. Oral and written English is essential

iv. Excellent communication skills

v. Ability to work with all people without discrimination

2. The Alivera Project (TAP) Farm Manager:

a. Working place: The Alivera Centre for Children with Disability located at Ntendezi, Ruharambuga sector, Nyamasheke district

b. Qualifications required

i. A2 level qualification in Agricole, Agriculture, Forestry, accounting and other fields with farming experiences

ii. Excellent knowledge of livestock management, especially goats

iii. Excellent knowledge of crop production and land management

iv. Ability to train others is essential

v. Motorbike driving license is desirable

c. Skills and experience

i. Ability to plan crop and livestock management and monitor and report on progress

ii. Good understanding of disability and enthusiasm for helping trainees meet their full potential

iii. Oral and written English is necessary

iv. Excellent communication skills and a keenness to learn sign language Confidence in using MS Word, Excel and emails

vi. Commitment to the ethos and vision of Rwanda Action

vii. Appreciation of disability and safeguarding matters

viii Ability to work with all people without discrimination
